• Xenon Bulbs: Xenon Bulbs come closest to replicating the colour temperature of daytime light. They also generate about twice the brightness and consume about half the power of traditional halogen bulbs. Halogen and Xenon Lights are well-suited to applications where a long-throwing beam is required such as caving and search and rescue. They are less desirable for longer-term, back country uses, where weight and battery efficiency are a must.
• Waterproof - Level 3: The highest of Princeton Tec’s ratings, Level 3 is assigned to lights that offer a degree of water protection equivalent to IPX8 in the International Electro technical Commission (IEC) standards. Lights rated at Level 3 provide waterproof integrity for continual submersion in water at depths down to 100 meters.
• Focused Narrow Beams: This pattern creates a long, powerful beam of light excellent for illuminating distant areas. The resulting long-throw spotlight is especially well-suited for night hiking and search and rescue.
